Our prayer is that as we journey through this year together, God would be transforming our lives. But transforming doesn't necessarily mean good change, it just means change. Thus, sanctification comes in. To sanctify means "to make holy; set apart as sacred; consecrate." This year we'll learn how to allow God to transform our lives as he sets us apart and makes us more holy until the coming of Christ.
"23May God himself, the god of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul,
and body be kept blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it."
—1 Thessalonians 5:23,24 NIV

Our Background
The Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society (JEMS) began its campus work in the fall of 1973 at CSU Los Angeles. It was called the JEMS Campus Bible Study. By 1977, the name Asian American Christian Fellowship was coined and used for the first time for the group at CSU Long Beach. From a small beginning, this ministry has grown to involve several thousand students on a number of strategic campuses in California and Washington.
AACF Mission
The mission of Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF) is to reach into the university and collegiate community, primarily to those who are Asian-Pacific Americans, with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
AACF Vision
We are committed to making disciples by educating and equipping students in Biblical foundations, Christian disciplines, and the development of spiritual gifts in order to prepare them for witness and service on the campus, in the local church, in the marketplace, and in world missions.
